On June 30, the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge officially opened, attracting widespread attention from the society.
It is reported that the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge is a world-class cluster project integrating "bridges, islands, tunnels, and underwater interchanges." The bridge section is approximately 17.1 kilometers long, while the undersea tunnel section is approximately 6.8 kilometers long. During its construction, the project set multiple "world records," including being the world's first exceptionally long two-way eight-lane undersea immersed tube tunnel. It is currently one of the most challenging cross-sea cluster engineering projects in the world.
The Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge is a core transportation hub project in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, connecting the east and west banks of the Pearl River Estuary. It is approximately 24 kilometers long, with eight lanes in both directions and a design speed of 100 kilometers per hour. After its opening, the journey time from Zhongshan to Shenzhen will be shortened from two hours to within half an hour.
From the perspective of regional development, with the opening of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge Tunnel, Zhongshan Guzhen, the "Billion-dollar Lighting Capital" of the world, is embracing unprecedented development opportunities. Qu Decheng, the executive vice president and secretary-general of the Zhongshan Lighting Electrical Appliance Industry Association, said that the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge is beneficial to the transformation and upgrading of Zhongshan's traditional industries, especially the lighting industry.
From the perspective of lighting enterprise development, this is an opportunity to showcase the influence and product capabilities of enterprises.
It is observed that along both sides of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge, intelligent full-color landscape light strips can change colors based on environmental temperature and traffic conditions. During emergencies, the light strips display red, yellow, and green in segments from near to far, guiding personnel to evacuate in an orderly manner. Meanwhile, to improve the comfort and safety of driving in the tunnel, there are intelligent lighting controllers that can automatically adjust the brightness of the lights based on detected light, color temperature data, traffic volume changes, and day or night conditions inside and outside the tunnel, further enhancing driving safety.
Shenzhen Good Lighting has provided LED strip lights, tunnel lights, floodlights and other LED lighting fixtures, as well as corresponding solutions for this super project, creating a safety, comfortable, efficient and energy-saving driving environment for the tunnel. Our LED lighting fixtures have undergone multiple tests to ensure stable operation in complex environments and stable lighting in the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge under various weather conditions.
